Planning Permission Granted by Highland Council

The South Planning Applications Committee for the Highland Council met on 8 December and granted The Boleskine House Foundation planning permission to enter into its next stage of restoration. The permission granted gives the go-ahead to restore Boleskine House’s external envelope, including roofing the building and installing the very impressive Georgian-style timber sash windows so we can make the structure wind and water secured in 2021.

Permission was also given for the construction of 10 holiday units which will in time help to generate an income for Boleskine House in the long term.

We would like to thank our professionals and everyone who was with us on this journey. We look forward to a bright and exciting future for this important historical building.
