Elin Morgan

“The opportunity to restore my previous Librarian and Archivist experience to create an unprecedented library collection at Boleskine House is a dream come true.”

After graduating in the History of Art in 2009, Elin began working as Librarian, Archivist and Collections Curator at The New Art Gallery Walsall, while also continuing her studies at the University of Birmingham. She achieved a Research Council Accredited M.Phil. in 2012, and began her PhD which included work in the Art Library and Art Education Department at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. In 2015, health issues prevented her from completing her PhD and she had to leave work. While undergoing years of invasive treatment and intense physiotherapy, Elin qualified as a Breathworks Instructor and Mindfulness-Based Pain Management Teacher and developed a keen interest in self-exploration and spirituality as a way to help her to live well with life-long pain and illness. She is also a keen drummer and enjoys drawing and sculpting. Elin will be assisting Andy in building the Boleskine House Library.
